Juve seems to be heavily linked to the U21 striker, but if Acquafresca is the replacement for an eventual Trez sale, then we have done a rather weak deal. He's unproven at this level, and Juve are already struggling to make the most out of the young talents they already have, previously too.
Giuseppe Rossi is a far more safe investment, in a ideal world that's who Secco should get, and Del Piero play as a backup to Rossi.

Robert Acquafresca for Juve

Mellberg exit
Juventus have sold Mellberg to Olympiakos, a nice move considering they got him for nothing in the first place, the swedish defender did mostly good, but is the kind of average-player you normally don't want to see in Juve.

De Ceglie joins Napoli
In a co-ownership deal. What is Secco thinking, the one LB in Juve with some basic talent, and he is sold. Instead we still have Molinaro.
It would be typical Secco to buy in another average useless player for this role, with the name Andrea Dossena or something, or should we hope for Criscito?

Chiellini is a LEFT BACK!
Yes he really is, that is were he has played most of his career, that is were he made himself a name, and if you ask me that's were he should return too. Not that pitbull-Chiellini hasn't impressed at Ranieri's CB conversion..he sure do, but since Juve have signed Cannavaro, and Legrottaglie doing quite good... then why not make them the centre pair, this also solves the ever-lasting left back problem... and Chiellini could rule the left flank. Just as Cabrini and Zambrotta once did.
Off course Ferrara might have other plans, hopefully with De Ceglie, or will Criscito ever return(?), but you know what you get with Chiellini.

Do we want D'Agostino?
I'd say maybe, he sure is a good player, and has done well in his new Pirlo-role for Udinese, also included in the national team lately too. Everything points to Ferrara using 3 midfielders behind Diego and the strikers, and thats were D'Ago comes in. He could play in the middle, with Sissoko and Marchisio just by his side, and considering the miserable players we currently have in the form of Tiago, Poulsen and Zanetti, he sure is an improvement, maybe not a BIG improvement but with Diego already bought, i'd say that'll do it for the midfield.

stuck with Nedved forever
Money talks every late season, and Nedved is set to be offered yet another extension to his contract, sticking true to the tradition.
But I rather think the board fools themselves, in lack of having the skills or the "money" to get a decent younger player to replace him. And for sure, with Del Piero, Nedved and Diego..... forget Giovinco he will be gone just like Palladino in true italian style, youngsters don't have a chance!. A mistake waiting to happen, and waiting to regret on.

Domenico Criscito return to Juve
It's actually just a question, by many Juve fans would like to see this promising player return to the club. He was not given lot's of chances, and did an error against Totti in one of the first matches last season, but look at the man in defense these days, mr Legrottaglie had probably the worst debut season in Juve in recent seasons.
Criscito is young, and has impressed at Genoa, Juve should also have placed him at Left back in the first place since thats were he is best. Cant exactly say the current man in LB position is the most hard to replace either.

Cassano? YES!
Does he have to be 27 years old before finally seeing him in Juve, probably. The previous guys never really tried to sign this superplayer, maybe Moggi didn't like his personality, but now is a different story, he is more vise, and still a fantastic player.
BUT!.. what are Juventus planning with this player?, in my eyes he is the same type as Giovinco and Del Piero, to fade out Del Piero would be great, but we all know thats not gonna happen anytime soon unfortunately. And with Giovinco already revealed as no Nedved replacement.... makes you think, but a club with no room for great players like Cassano is not a great club, so go for it anyway!

Get Benzema! get him!
He is destined for Juventus, french supertalent from french league, young ..and yeah sounds just like Trez back in 1999-2000. He is the perfect and only replacement for Trezeguet, they should do all they can to get him, and use Trezeguet as a part exchange.
Imaging having Giovinco and Benzema! entering CL, thats Del Piero - Trez all over again for years to come.

Trezegol is always trezegol
Freeze him out would be a very bad idea, just because he made some comments, which he is perfectly entitled to say whatever he wants, after all Trez is Trez, he could have only needed that one last touch in the last 10 minutes to score, as he has done tons of times before....maybe Juve should react on other things instead, sure should be enough to do!, but i guess we'll have to enjoy Amauri's miserable form continue instead?
Trez is one of the few players who i regard highly, he's been loyal and professional for a long time, and is more "Juve" than certain other's.

Replace Nedved, but who
Let's hope the legend retire this summer, Juve cant keep on postponing the fact that a new replacement is needed anymore. One for the future, it's gonna be an almost impossible task to find a good replacement (at least for Secco), but there are some candidates out there already.
And none of them is in the squad, since Giovinco is more a forward and Del Piero heir,...whenever that happens.
Candidate number 1:
Arjen Robben - who is a more perfect wing than this man?.. he has pretty much every qualities there is and still young, but expensive, and difficult to sign, but Juve used to be Juve..they should get what they want.
2:
Diego - Young, talented, skillfull and a playmaker, perfect choice too, but in a 4-4-2 he might end up a little too much wide, but a player of that quality could easily adapt to it anyway... and Nedved moved a lot into center in his glory days. Should be perfectly possible to sign, if they just could make an decision.
3:
Schweinsteiger - Young, versatile, talented and likely to fit in to Serie A well. He can also play at right, something which makes him even more interesting. Should be more than possible to sign.

Quit Nedved, quit!
It's enough, it doesn't matter anymore that he was one of the best, this is now, not the past... he is slow, much weaker skills, and he almost can't shoot anymore. It's ridiculous that Juve should continue to play him and hand him new contracts as soon as he scores one or two goals, it does not change the fact.
And because of this a big talent is rotting on the sideline, Giovinco is on good way to end up just like Palladino, they never learn.

Amauri was a classic JUVENTUS buy
As i was predicting when Juve signed him, Amauri is going to be one of the very top strikers in Europe, that many clubs would drool over. And it turns out to be true as Real Madrid supposedly wanted him in January for a massive fee, which they off course can just forget.
We've seen it so many times before with Juventus, they buy smart, not those world known names, but those who are proven and ready to peak their career to the maximum in the Juve shirt, just as Amauri is doing right now.

knezevic is a joke!
A 3 man defense is better than one with a knezevic in it, he is horrible... already responsible for 2 goals conceded in the games he has played. The summer transfers got all wrong, the sad fact is that Juve only has 2 "Juve class" defenders in the whole club (Legro, Chiellini) and as soon as one of them is out it breaks apart.
Grygera in the centre and Salihamidzic at RB is better choice, but you would have to have a decent coach to notice things like that.

New signing
Iago Falque the 18 year old midfield talent from Spain. It is a exciting addition, and Juve are now looking out of the homecountry for these young talents, which is almost new, and probably following the trend shown by others (Arsenal, Barca).
But apart from that its not really a interesting signing at all, because this is Juve, you can forget to see him in the first team for years, and then he probably will be sold or loaned out in the future.
But anyway the kid do have the right mentality though: "ill be Juve's Fabregas" ;)...yeah your welcome!!!

Tip Ekdal for success

Considering no one expects him to break through, and his low cost, Ekdal can be a supersub, at least he has the full potential to be it.
Since Juve are very short on attacking central midfielders, and Nedved is also old, Ekdal should have every possibility to get some appearances in either of the three competitons Juve are competing in this year. And as always, if you are good enough, then you're old enough too, so much rather one Ekdal than Almiron and Tiago combined!!

No more Andrade!

Andrade's Juve disaster continues yet again, as he halted off the training pitch. And is set for the third knee surgery in a year, it will mean he is out the whole upcoming season.
Chances to ever get back for Juve looks rather slim now as this injury might end his career.
Do we need a new replacement?, or is Legrottaglie and Mellberg up for the task?

Chiellini breakthrough!!

What a superfantastic game by our great defender yesterday. He was simply a giant in the defense, every time Chiellini was nearby you felt safe, he has an extraordinary ability to tackle the ball away with his left foot, simply awesome watch.
This is the international breakthrough for him at age 23!, he has everything in his advantage to become a true legend in both Juve and Italy, forza Chiellini!
While Italy need a "revolution" in the national team, time to build a partly new squad with Lippi!

Xabi Alonso ready for Juve

All things said to be agreed with the club and player, Xabi is heading for Turin in July. He will cost Juventus almost the same as Mohamed Sissoko, and join him in central midfield to form a duo consisting of great stamina, pace, tackling, intelligence and one of Europe's best passing foot!
Xabi will be one of the few spanish players to play for Juventus. And it might prove to be a signing the club has been waiting for a long time, since recent years central midfield has mainly consisted of pure defensive players rather than deep playmakers.

transfer Tiago

After a poor and embarrassing season from the mediocre portuguese, its surprising to still see Secco and Ranieri defending him, the displays by Tiago lately is of a minimum expectation from a Juve midfielder and far from satisfacting even if he has improved a little.
With already given plenty of chances and still failing, cash-in on Tiago should be of a high priority by the club this summer, unfortunately that cash might be rather little, but the player don't deserve a place in the squad. And together with a couple of other players Juventus would benefit from a little clearout to improve the integrity of the squad and free some money.
