And finally a good signing by Secco!, even though there is nothing official yet, it is widely believed agreements have been met for everyone involved, and it sure is excellent news for Juve. I think this is the signing the team has hungered for, we need a new intelligent attacker to control the play, with his 24 years old, this may probably be the best player Juve could have signed.
Forza Diego, Forza Juve, new coach next.

Schweinsteiger, go for it
Rumors has it to Juve being interessted in signing Bastian Schweinsteiger on a free transfer next summer, that could possibly be a very good deal, he is young, talented and can play both left and right midfield. Perfect, since Camo is also ageing.

Van Persie not the heir to Nedved at all!

There has been speculations over Juventus being interested in Arsenals Robin Van Persie, to take over for Nedved next year. And that Ranieri regard him as a perfect replacement for Nedved when he retires. (prove your worth this season before talking about next year?)
First of all, this is at the moment just silly rumors without any official comments. But if it is true, then I seriously begins to doubt this pride Juventus team, because this is just enough, Van Persie certainly isnt the perfect replacement for Nedved. He don't even have the same characteristics as Nedved, the only thing in common is the playing position and good shots. And that suddently makes him a perfect Nedved replacement!?
While the club already have SEBASTIAN GIOVINCO, he is the heir to Nedved, maybe even as soon as this season. It is about time to give all his great talents a chance!, De Ceglie, Marchisio, Giovinco, Lanzafame, other clubs would be ecstatic to have prospect like this in the club. But Juve repeats all the negative signals to not give any of these a chance, and instead buy expensive players who even isn't regarded as big-name stars. This Van Persie rumor is not any more welcomed next summer too.

Juve want Poulsen

He plays for Sevilla, 28 years old from Denmark. He is also known for his ugly play style, midfield Matrix in a way. But why are Juve wanting him, he is a combative midfielder, and not very creative one, Sissoko then, is he gonna play attacking midfield or something suddently?. No Poulsen is certainly not a scoop, i guess its better to stick with Zanetti then, and what about Marchisio?!.

Veloso to Juve
Or hopefully not...
A 22 year old talented defensive midfielder is not exactly what Juve need the most. And considering the price-tag on the Sporting Lisbon player, it doesn't sound like a good deal. Because players of this age, and from smaller clubs will allways be a higher risk of flopping at Juve level.
So using over 10 millions on a rather "unknown" player like that is really not attractive news. And if Secco could actually be a little sharper he would have Alonso signed up already by now.

Dejan Stankovic not welcome
X
The increasingly likely capture of the Serbian midfielder is not welcomed by the majority of Juventus fans. After being frozen out of Inter now, Juve are keen to sign him for around 7 millions. But the fans has not forgotten his snub in 2004 when he choose Inter ahead of Juve, plus also his provocative comments in the calciopoli scandal. So why is the club going for him?, sure he is a good midfielder, but why not concentrate the efforts and money on Alonso instead, even Senna for that matter, this is just sad!.

Dario Knezevic (video) to Juve!
The 26 year old defender Dario Knežević looks set to be Juventus latest defender addition. Probably on a loan deal from Livorno to start with. A pretty physical and tough defender, typical Juve style =)
He is part of the croatian national team, and has played in their Euro qualification.
Might be a cheap and talented backup for the defense, and i case wouldn't be the first Croat to play for Juve, since Igor Tudor and Robert Kovac in recent seasons.

Cassano wanted!

Antonio Cassano is suddently in the center of calciomercato attention after a fine season in Sampdoria. The ink from his penned deal at Sampdoria hasn't even dried before he is linked away. This time to Juventus. And it's not the first time either, at age 25 he is now more mature and his phenomenal skills is known to everyone.
So to see him in Juventus would really be beautiful, Samp should probably demand around 20M for him, a fee that is likely to be possible to Juve if they sell Trezeguet, and/or offer Palladino to Samp.
The fact that Juve already has a proven attack, doesn't mean they should not look towards new and on the paper better recruits, Cassano can play as trequartista, wing or striker.

Palladino + Genoa

Is a new option for our benchwarmer. Genoa is very interested in the player, and already have Criscito who can be joined by Palladino.
Considering the talent of Palladino it's a deal that should demand quite some cash, while it also is the best for the club. Palladino isn't the "new Del Piero", as so many was hoping, he's not even close at all.

Aquilani for Juve..
Are Juventus on a mad midfield shopping mood? or is this just another silly season rumor.
Alberto Aquilani is no matter what happens a wonderful player with immense talent and capability. He has taken almost the same development path as Chiellini, even though they play at different positions, and I don't think there is a safer and better bet that they are both Azzurri's future first choice.
Therefore a very very tempting investment, but.. also a very unlikely investment, since Alonso has been heavily associated with the club instead of Aquilani. It's hardly possible to get them both, it will require a huge money bag. And also set Sissoko out of play, or even welcome Aquilani straight to the bench.
So if Aquilani is a second choice on the shopping list, then he's a really fine one. Who to choose?..depends on who is possible to sign, and the price tag. It's all up to the club =)

Trezeguet to leave Juventus (?)
Well at least it is a possibility, yet again Barcelona as a possible destination. While Trezeguet together with Del Piero, Buffon and Nedved is the sides biggest characters, it is good that Juve take every options into consideration. The five high quality strikers currently is causing some pressure, and either one most go, or Ranieri most use 3 strikers in his tactics like a 4-3-3.
Trezeguet is 31 years old, and if he is to be sold, this is the time for a major cash transfer. Juventus has traditionally never put a player before the club, and Trez wouldn't be the first shock sale.
Potentially Amauri has every attribute to be a perfect partner for Del Piero and do equally good as Trezeguet, and since both Amauri and Iaquinta is 4 and 3 years younger, they might be preferred.
At least nothing is decided, and to see Trezeguet leave the club would certainly be sad, but it could also free cash for other great signings for the midfield and defense, so it might not be a bad idea after all.

Alonso transfer update
After Cobolli Gigli admitted the interest in Alonso yesterday, it seems like the only thing left for the deal to finish is the final transfer fee. Some say Liverpool want about 16-19m. euro. While Juventus is working hard to lower that price tag.
Traditionally Juve always get the players they want, and it would be fun to see him in the Juve shirt, great passing foot, one of the best, and the best of him is probably yet to come since he is 26 years old.
As for Amauri who is suppose to sign the deal tomorrow, off course something that's already been said too many times. But at least this is exciting times for the team, and everything points to a more successful transfer campaign this summer than the poor one from last year.

Grosso getting closer to Juve?
Finally a Zambrotta replacement?
Juventus is keen on the 2006 world cup hero, and has been linked to him several times this spring, reports in Italy say that it is increasingly likely that he will join Juve now. Since we currently has only Molinaro as an option on left back, it is this position that the defense needs reinforcement in.
The routine and proven quality of Grosso makes him a very reliable and instant boost to the team if he is to join. Obviously Juventus is a much more correct place to be in for a player like Grosso instead of Lyon.

Juve should sign Alonso
type of player needed
According to latest rumours, the Xabi Alonso one is a really interesting and tempting one. There isn't to many world class defensive midfielder's with playmaker character around. But Alonso clearly is one of the few, and in his prime age, and probably not impossible to lure away from Liverpool, a club with great midfielders.
The fact that Juve's current style of play (since Lippi's time) is often based on two defensive midfielder's rather than one very attacking one like Diego, we get that from the flanks mostly.
This makes Alonso perfectly suited in the centre, a man who can retain defensive duties plus score goals and hit perfect passes who opens the opponents defense, deep playmaker. This is mostly something Juve have severely lacked this season, as Tiago has played horrible.
Spanish player's usually have a negative reputation for not succeeding in Italy, but maybe the risk is not to big with a player who already has adapted to english football during the last years. And when the alternatives in italian players isn't very easy, regarding to sign De Rossi or Aquilani who has stressed their desire to stay at Rome and would probably be impossible to get. Also Lampard likely to stay at Chelsea, Then Alonso might be the one we need. And why not go for John Arne Riise while we are at it, he's much better than Molinaro.
have your say...

Ranieri wants Wayne Bridge
Ranieri is reportedly interesting in working with the Chelsea left back again. The 27 year old Bridge is currently loaned out to Fulham in Premier League. And played at Chelsea under Ranieri, and before Ashley Cole arrived.
It's likely that Ranieri doesn't trust Molinaro's ability and want a new left back.
Is he the one needed at left back?...
Nocerino prepares to leave
Joining Palermo..(?)
Antonio Nocerino is soon set to join Palermo in a permanent part exchange deal for the Amauri transfer. The young midfielder has been under Juventus ownership since 2002, and are now set to leave the club, after starting as a regular.. but later fallen out of favor to Sissoko.
Many regard Nocerino as one of the most promising defensive midfielder's, but I don't think he has impressed much at all this season, poor passing, poor technical skills and generally a very clumsy style of play.
Check out: Claudio Marchisio instead.

Palladino transfer
[is it time to leave?]
It's increasingly likely that Palladino is heading for a exit pretty soon. Not because he has failed, but because the competition at Juve is just far to tough. And we all know that even though Palladino is placed along the wings this season, he really is better in the striking position.
It's almost an guarantee that a big-name striker will arrive this summer too. So a sale looks much more likely, and Juve might get a second chance with these talented players, in the likes of Giovinco and Lanzafame.

Ujfalusi on free transfer
Juventus are interested in the 29 year old Fiorentina stopper, and some say he has an verbal agreement with Juve. His contract expires in the summer, and would in case come for free just like Olof Mellberg.
Juventus should probably send some defenders out of the door if this is true, since they begin to get many fighting over the same positions. Especially at the CB/RB

Carvahlo Amauri deal almost done
Fianlly it's almost a done deal, after going on for some weeks, it seems the signing of Amauri is only a couple of days away from being official. Palermo has given the green light, but Juventus will give one player as a part of the deal, most likely to be Giovinco, Marchisio or De Ceglie, and not Palladino. Claudio Ranieri is said to be eager to add some big-name players to the squad and Amauri seem to be only the start.

Xabi Alonso next from Liverpool?
Xabi Alonso to Juventus, is the latest rumour to appear from Italy... apparently strong rumours. He would be a perfect partner together with Sissoko, and a complete midfielder with all top qualities.
We'll get back to this later.
