Juventus shirt history

(the historical first photo of Juve in 1898)
The black and white striped shirt as we are used to today, wasn't the original club shirt from 1897. Since back then the shirt was pink, a color often related to sport's in Italy, they used this with a black tie until 1903. The pink shirts got bleached by washing and the colors didn't last long enough.
Thats why Juve looked for a new one, they used some of their contact's bringing them to Nottingham England, and from there Juve were shipped black and white striped shirt's. Obviously influenced by Notts County's black and white striped shirt's =). Since then Juventus has sticked to it, the white and black's huge contrast gives the shirt a strong and aggressive look.
As for Notts County (one of the oldest professional club's) is now currently playing in League Two, and there is no secret that one of their supporter chants is: "it's just like watching juve!"... often heard when they play good.

Juventus aiming for 3 stars on the shirt

Let's put the third star on the shirt after our next Scudetto. After all in all fairness to the players who gave their all for the two scudetto's that got stripped later, Juventus should consider themself winner of 29 scudetto's and not 27. Calciopoli did too much harm based on too little evidence and didn't have anything to do with sport at all, so the real question here is if Inter felt good wearing the italian flag on their shirt, then surely Juve should feel good with three mighty stars on the shirt, after all we really won, in contrast to Inter!
